Throughout
the galaxy of human civilization, art has always served as a beacon
illuminating the spiritual realm. From Dunhuang murals to the
Renaissance, from bronze inscriptions to digital art, every work
embodies humanity’s eternal pursuit of truth, goodness, and beauty. The
establishment of the World Cultural and Artistic Merit Award not only
stands as a profound tribute to artists but also profoundly interprets
the core value of humanistic spirit in cultural heritage preservation.
In an era where material abundance contrasts sharply with spiritual
barrenness, this award uses "merit" as a yardstick to measure art’s
power in awakening human dignity, and "achievement" as a mirror
reflecting how civilization thrives through artistic nourishment. It
reminds us that true artistic excellence lies not in technical
brilliance, but in whether works are infused with humanistic
spirit—becoming timeless dialogues across eras and enduring monuments
that enrich the human soul.
